In 2019 Azerbaijan produced 763.5 million manats worth of metal, down by 20% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Committee, manufacture of metal wares grew by 82.4%, to 214.604 million manats.
Last year Azerbaijan produced 326.4 thousand tons of steel, down by 14.5%, 300.6 thousand tons of rebars, down by 2.8%, 49.2 thousand tons of pipes, up by 3%, 6.8 thousand tons of wire rods, down by 5.3%, 1.4 thousand tons of rods and sections, up by 21.6%, and 32.7 thousand tons of raw aluminum, down by 25.1%.
Manufacture of ferrous metals construction structures grew by 87%, to 32.8 million manats, and other structures almost 2-fold, to 22.2 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
