In December 2019 Ukraine decreased steel manufacture by 17.2% YoY, to 1.561 million tons, having advanced from the 15th to the 12th position in the Worldsteel rating.
In the whole 2019 Ukraine produced 20.848 million tons of steel, down by 1.2% YoY, having remained at the 13th place.
In 2018 Ukraine was also on the 13th place with 21.1 million tons of steel, down by 1.1%. (Ukrainian metal)
