In 2019 Ukraine increased imports of copper and copper wares by 17.9% YoY, to $124.36 million.
According to the State Customs Service, exports decreased by 42.9%, to $79.668 million.
In December 2019 Ukraine imported $9.995 million worth of copper and exported $6.831 million.
Ukraine decreased imports of nickel by 11.5%, to $83.27 million ($5.429 million in December 2019), but increased of aluminum by 9%, to $401.814 million ($32.729 million), decreased that of lead by 4.6%, to $15.484 million ($1.07 million), tin by 18%, to $3.928 million ($353 thousand), and zinc by 8.5%, to $75.631 million ($6.805 million).
Aluminum exports dropped by 23.8%, to $100.554 million ($7.422 million), lead – by 20%, to $27.075 million ($1.98 million), and nickel – by 44.6%, to $4.505 million ($0.272 million).
Zinc exports grew from $363 thousand to $467 thousand ($1 thousand in December 2019), while that of tin dropped from $313 thousand to $45 thousand ($8 thousand). (Ukrainian metal)
