Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine has put the previously shut down blast furnace No. 9 into operation.
Since mid-September DMK has been operating with only one of its three blast furnaces – No. 1-M.
In July-September the company was repairing the blast furnace No. 9, but failed to commission it.
On November 24 raw materials were loaded into the furnace. On November 28 DMK intends to produce some 70 tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
