Russian coal producer Raspadskaya, a part of steel and mining giant Evraz, has launched production at a new longwall of the Raspadskaya mine with commercial reserves standing at about 3 million tons of coking coal, the company said in a statement on October 8.
Raspadskaya expects production of the longwall to reach 600,000 tons already in 2019, and it plans to deplete the longwall until the end of 2020. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
