The salary debts to state miners will have been cleared by the Independence Day.
According to the deputy minister of energy and coal industry Anatoliy Korzun, it is expected that until the end of the week over 500 million UAH will be transferred to state mines. Of them 250 million UAH will be provided by the government and a part will be taken from the Cabinet of Ministers reserve fund, which will have to be returned. Moreover, Centerenergo will make a 260-million UAH advance payment.
He said the situation arose from the previous parliament not voting for providing 1 billion UAH to support coal industry at its last meeting. (Ukrainian metal)
