In January-June Ukraine produced 5.19 million tons of bulk coke with 6% moisture, down by 3% YoY.
In June delivery of coking coal to by-product coke enterprises dropped by 26% MoM, to 950 thousand tons. In particular, delivery of Ukrainian coal grew by 28%, to 310 thousand tons, while imports fell by 36%, to 640 thousand tons.
In 6 months deliveries of coking coal decreased by 1%, to 7.09 million tons, including 1.44 million tons of domestic coal, up by 2%, and 5.65 million tons of imported coal, down by 2%. The share of imported coal was 79.7% as opposed to 80.4% in H1 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
