Russia is prepared to do anything to settle the issue of antidumping investigation on metal imports to Mexico.
“We have drawn the attention of our Mexican colleagues to the situation with the ongoing antidumping investigation on our ferrous products. We have certain suggestions on what to do, and we’ll continue doing it”, deputy foreign minister Sergey Ryabkov said.
In 2015 the Mexican Ministry of economy reported it was studying the situation with the prolongation or cancellation of compensational duty on the delivery of sheet steel from Russia, Ukraine and Romania.
Prior to that, the duty on the delivery of these products from Russia was prolonged in 2012 till October 2015. The duty was 36.8% for Russia and 60.1% for Ukraine. (Ukrainian metal)
