In January-March, Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works increased metal wares sales by 3% QoQ, to 109 thousand tons.
According to the company statement, sales of ball bearing wire grew by 96%, galvanized wire – by 13%, and low-carbon wire for ferroconcrete structures – by 70%.
The sales of nails and steel mesh went up by 40% and 39% respectively.
The growth is due to the seasonal increase in demand for construction metal wares. (Ukrainian metal)
