In January-March, Kangalassky Pit (Yakutugol) increased coal output by 7% YoY, to 136 thousand tons.
The enterprise is participating in the state program to provide the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) housing and municipal enterprises with coal during winter.
“Last year the pit increased excavation works by 23%, which enabled us not only to exceed the output target, but also to meet the suddenly grown demand for coal”, Yakutugol manufacturing director Alexei Ivanov said. (Ukrainian metal)
