The accounts of Energomashspetsstal in 10 Ukrainian banks have been arrested to fulfill the ruling of the court and clear electricity debts to DTEK valued at 224.37 million UAH.
DTEK has numerous times since 2015 asked EMSS to clear the debts for the electricity provided, but to no avail. In January-February the company 4 times informed EMSS of the possible cut off of electricity because of debts.
The debt restructure schedule has not been approved.
EMSS suggested addressing Metinvest that was purchasing rolls from it but paying not in advance, but two months after the receipt, while DTEK supplied electricity on the 100% prepayment basis.
“We have become a warehouse for Metinvest orders. The group takes rolls when it wants. The electricity debt amounts to 224 million UAH, while Metinvest owes us 280 million UAH”, EMSS said. (Ukrainian metal)
