The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertisa forecasts that in February ferrous scrap metal prices on the local market will drop by 3.4-16%, to 5.7-7.9 thousand UAH per ton.
Until mid-February some drastic change of price is not expected, as rolled metal manufacturers will only begin testing opportunities to raise prices for their products.
In March the increase will slow down on the background of seasonal rise of procurement. In March the prices will range within 6.2-6.7 thousand UAH per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
