In January-November Ukraine produced 16.84 million tons of rolled metal, up by 3% YoY.
Of this, 13.21 million tons, or 78.4%, were exported. In 11 months of 2017 Ukraine exported 13.35 million tons of 16.74 million tons produced, or 79.7%.
Semi-finished products accounted for 43.68% of the exports, up from 42.25% last year.
The share of the flat rolled metal was 34.85% against 34.11% last year, while that of bars – 21.47% against 23.64%.
The main export markets for Ukrainian metal are still EU (34%), Africa (16.6%), other European countries including Turkey (13.1%) and the Near East (10.7%). (Ukrainian metal)
