In January-October Ukrainian by-product coke plants imported 9.9 million tons of coking coal and coal concentrate for coking, up by 15% YoY.
In October 1.06 million tons of coke were imported, down by 1% MoM.
Ukrainian coal deliveries in 10 months dropped by 19%, to 2.19 million tons, with 250 thousand tons supplied in October, up by 15% MoM.
In 10 months Ukrainian by-product coke plants received 12.09 million tons of coking coal, up by 7% YoY. The share of imported coal grew to 81.9% from 76.2%. In October plants received 1.31 million tons of coking coal, up by 2% MoM.
In October Ukrainian metal companies received 818 thousand tons of coke, up by 7% MoM. All the coke was of local manufacture, up by 9% MoM, with no coke imported.
In 10 months metal companies received 7.94 million tons of coke, up by 5% YoY, including 7.65 million tons of local coke, up by 12%, and 0.29 million tons of imported coke, up by 41%. The share of the imported coke was 4%. (Ukrainian metal)
