In April-May 2019 Zaporizhstal will complete the preparation of the site for the construction of the oxygen-converter shop.
According to CEO Rostislav Shurma, the company is also constructing a 2.5km road.
The construction of the shop has been entrusted to Metinvest Engineering.
At present some 50 machines are operating at the construction sites.
The CEO has underlined the importance of the oxygen-converter shop for the plant.
“In 5-10 years without a converter things will be difficult for us”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
