In August Ukraine decreased steel production by 0.5% MoM, to 1.806 million tons.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 2%, to 1.733 million tons, while that of rolled metal grew by 1%, to 1.515 million tons.
In January-August Ukraine produced 14 million tons of steel, 13.65 million tons of pig iron and 12.27 million tons of rolled metal, all up by 2%, 5% and 8% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
