Russia: 6.5 billion rubles needed to resume operation of coalmines in Partizansk

At least 6.5 billion rubles are needed to resume operation of the flooded mines in Partizansk. And the work will last for some 3 years.

Suchan-Ugol LLC announced its planes to revive coal industry in Partizanks in January. At present the company is a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok. The company intends to resume operation of the Central mine and construct a new mine.

The restoration of the Central mine will last for 3 to 5 years, while the construction of the new mine – 5 years. The cost of the project is 21 billion rubles, including 6.5 billion rubles for the old mine and 14.5 billion for the new mine.

The project will create 2 thousand jobs. (Ukrainian metal)
