Electrozinc has started assembling new machinery in the leaching shop.
The modernization of the site with the assembly of two large ball mills and construction of a new division of neutral leaching is carried out under the program of development in 2018-2022.
“The project will provide for the decrease of zinc dust usage to clean solutions by 1381 tons per year, that is from the current 83 kg per ton of zinc to 60 kg, thus increasing the zinc output. At the same time the economical and ecological pressure in the rotary shop will decrease”, the company chief metal engineer Vladimir Podunov said.
The construction of the site will be complete in 2019. Investments will exceed 102 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
