In January-July exports of raw materials for metal industry grew by 42.2%, to 2.6 million tons, valued at $1.323 billion, up by 32.3%.
Pig iron exports went up by 59.3%, to 1.767 million tons, with 175.5 thousand tons valued at $64.56 million exported in July, which was one of the lowest results since the start of the year.
Ferroalloys exports increased by 4.3%, to 548 thousand tons, with scrap exports up by 49.6%, to 281.3 thousand tons.
Revenue from ferroalloys exports reached $621.2 million, up by 0.7% YoY, and scrap – $92.4 million, up 2.27-fold.
July saw the lowest scrap exports this year – 10.94 thousand tons valued at $3.28 million.
Steel semi-finished products exports totaled 4.09 million tons, up by 16.9%.
Ukraine also exported 382.5 thousand tons of steel pipes, up by 7.5%, valued at $425.6 million, up by 41.1%. (Ukrainian metal)
