Ukraine: non-ferrous metals exports up in January-July 2018

In January-July Ukraine increased imports of nickel (and wares) by 30.5% YoY, to $58.711 million.

In July imports reached $11.169 million.

Aluminum imports totaled $210.703 million, up by 1.5%, with $35.158 million in July, lead – $7.612 million, up 2-fold ($1.949 million), zinc and zinc wares – $51.514 million, up by 27.3% ($6.949 million). At the same time imports of tin and tin wares dropped by 6.8%, to $2.466 million ($119 thousand in July).

Aluminum exports grew by 17.1%, to $83.338 million ($11.919 million in July), nickel and wares – by 46%, to $5.425 million ($1.246 million), but fell by 17.8%, to $22.639 million ($3.225 million) for lead.

Zinc exports in January-July totaled $148 thousand ($30 thousand) as opposed to $49 thousand in 7 months of 2017. Tin exports were $269 thousand (no exports in June-July) against $149 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
