In April-June Raspadskaya, one of the Russia’s largest coking coal manufacturers, decreased output by 19% QoQ, to 2.43 million tons.
June output dropped because of the decrease of operating long faces from 3 to 2.
Moreover, in May the mine had to stop operation to improve industrial safety.
“In H2 Raspadskaya mine will resume operation at three long faces, thus increasing coal output”, the company said. (Ukrainian metal)
