Mechel intends to buy Izhevsk Works of Metallurgy and Machine-Building (Izhmetmash).
A group of Mechel representatives has held a meeting with the local ministry of industry.
According to Udmurtia governor Alexander Brechalov, those were the second negotiations with the potential buyers. Earlier the works was offered to Izhora-Metall.
On July 9 Izhmetmash will be reorganized. (Ukrainian metal)
