In January-March Kazakhstan produced 1.167 million tons of steel, up by 7.6% YoY, with 431 thousand tons produced in March, up by 10.9% YoY and by 21.3% MoM.
Ferroalloys output in March reached 168 thousand tons, up by 9.1% MoM and by 1.1% YoY. In 3 months manufacture grew by 2.5% YoY, to 494 thousand tons.
Processed copper production totaled 104 thousand tons in Q1, up by 2.1% YoY, and zinc – 83 thousand tons, up by 2.3%. (Ukrainian metal)
