Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works produced 115 thousand tons of metal wares in Q1 2018, up by 3% YoY.
The products for the construction industry, machine-building and electrode industry demonstrated the largest increase.
Cold-deformed rebars and low-carbon wire sales grew by 46% and 38% respectively.
Sales of nails increased by 23%, of welding alloyed wire – by 15%, and welding wire for electrodes – by 13%.
Steel ropes saw a slight increase in sales – by 1%. (Ukrainian metal)
