Severstal has selected suppliers of the main machinery for the construction of the blast furnace No. 3 at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works with the capacity of 2.9 million tons of pig iron per year.
Under the contract Danieli Corus B. V. (the Netherlands), Paul Wurth S. A. (Luxembourg) and TMT GmbH (Germany) will design, supply, assemble and commission the main machinery.
The cost of the investment project is over 28 billion rubles.
The first deliveries of the machinery are scheduled for Q1 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
