Zaporizhstal is negotiating with European banks and financial organizations the issue of attracting a loan to construct a converter shop valued at over $1 billion.
“We need to get loans, and that means trust in the first place. Unfortunately, the situation in the country has not changed for the past two years. And the political brawls are keeping foreign investors away”, the company CEO Rostislav Shurma said.
Still, some success has already been reached with a number of financial organizations.
The project is very important for Zaporozhye. According to preliminary estimates, the construction, which will last for 3 years, will employ around 3 thousand people. (Ukrainian metal)
