In 2017 Karabashmed produced 120 thousand tons of raw copper, up by 7% YoY.
The increase is the result of manufacture modernization – in 2004-2017 Russian Copper Company invested around 18 billion rubles in Karabashmed.
In 2018 RCC intends to invest 2 billion rubles in the company. As the result 3 new converters will be put in operation, increasing copper output to 150 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
