Evraz NTMK has obtained the license of the Association of American Railroads to supply N-36 wheels for cargo cars to North America.
After 100 thousand miles the wheels will be additionally checked.
N-36 wheels have been tested at the largest US BNSF Railway and faultlessly rolled for over 300 thousand miles. After that they have been tested in the laboratories and service depots, which have confirmed the absence of internal defects.
At present N-36 is the major Evraz NTMK export product.
The first time the company supplied N-36 wheels to USA was in 2012. (Ukrainian metal)
