The miners of Rodinskaya mine (the state enterprise Mirnogradugol) refuse to return to the surface because of the 3-month salary debt.
“14 miners remain underground demanding salary payment for 3 months. They threaten to go on a hunger strike”, Mikhail Volynets, chairman of the Independent Miners Union of Ukraine, wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, the State Treasury has already prepared all the necessary documents to start transferring money. (Ukrainian metal)
