In January-September Ukraine increased copper and copper wares imports by 56.4% YoY, to $62.24 million. According to the customs statistics, exports grew by 69.1%, to $92.725 million.
In September copper imports totaled $7.911 million, and exports – $10.946 million.
Nickel imports in 9 months dropped by 16.7%, to $55.721 million ($5.057 million in September). At the same time aluminum imports increased by 36.8%, to $276.139 million ($38.023 million), tin – by 71.6%, to $3.271 million ($397 thousand), lead – 2.5-fold, to $7.055 million ($2.147 million) and zinc – by 67.8%, to $53.342 million ($5.89 million).
Aluminum exports in 9 months increased by 34.7%, to $94.382 million ($11.167 million), lead – by 53.4%, to $33.746 million ($3.793 million); zinc grew to $60 thousand ($8 thousand) from $13 thousand. Tin exports totaled $171 thousand ($8 thousand) against $3 thousand.
At the same time nickel exports dropped by 16%, to $4.207 million ($0.21 million). (Ukrainian metal)
