Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine is preparing its converter shop for operation.
In particular the work is being carried out at the converter No. 2 and the continuous casting machine No. 1. The steel- and pig iron pouring ladles have been heated, and the first pig iron will be poured on July 27.
The rolling shop is preparing the machinery of the 400/200 mill.
Blast furnaces No. 1M and No. 9 were blown on July 23. (Ukrainian metal)
