Even if the scrap export duty is prolonged, Ukraine will still suffer from the raw material shortage.
“There will be a shortage anyway. But there is a difference: 200 thousand tons of shortage at 30 euro per ton duty and 800 thousand tons of shortage if the duty is not prolonged”, Ukrmetallurgprom president Alexander Kalenkov said.
