The Oktyabrskiy mine, a part of Norilsk Nickel, has started the capital repairs of the northern part of the skip shaft No. 1.
The repair will see the overhaul of 250 tons of equipment and metal structures.
The previous repair was carried out in 2005.
The cost of the works is 50 million rubles.
The shaft output is 2.5 million tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
