The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertisa forecasts that scrap deliveries to Ukrainian companies will increase in March by 23.5% MoM, or by 39 thousand tons, to 205 thousand tons.
The increase in deliveries has to do with the high price of 6150 UAH per ton, as well as the expectations of the scrap procurers and traders that the price could fall.
In 2016 scrap procurement in Ukraine totaled 3.5 million tons, which was the minimal result for the past 20 years. (Ukrainian metal)
