Azovstal Iron and Steel Works, a part of Metinvest, has started producing KR80 crane rails.
The new products correspond to DSTU 2484 and GOST 4121 standards and are used to construct bridge cranes with high lifting capacity. Seaports, industrial enterprises and construction companies are among the consumers of such rails.
The first 100 tons of the new rail have already been supplied to the local market and the CIS.
The company estimates sales volume at 1 thousand tons.
Earlier Azovstal started producing KR70, KR100 and KR120 rails. The largest consumers of KR80 and KR100 on the local market are Metinvest companies. (Ukrainian metal)
