Shareholders of Zaporozhye Iron Ore Complex have decided to spend all the company net profits for 2015 on development. In 2015 ZZhRK net profits fell 4.9 times YoY, to 232.08 million UAH from 1129.12 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has purchased the Liebherr L 586 wheel loader for 30 million UAH. “Such machines are used in mining and metallurgy to carry out the most difficult and important jobs”, said the company CEO Yuri Zinchenko. In August Ukraine exported $76.96 million worth of pig iron, with imports on the level of $0.09 million. According to the State Fiscal Service, USA was the main consumer of Ukrainian pig iron in August ($31.6 million). In January-August Ukraine exported $341.14 million worth of pig iron, while imports reached $0.49 million. (Ukrainian metal)
Energomashspetsstal will produce a hammer frame for Lasco (Germany). “The company has concluded a contract to supply the hammer frame to Lasco. EMSS will produce a large frame weighing 61 tons”, said the company in its statement. The billet will be a part of a press-forging plant and will be supplied in December. (Ukrainian metal)
