The state enterprise Ukrpromvneshexpertisa believes local ferrous scrap prices will fall in Q4 by 4.76% QoQ, or by 170 UAH per ton, to 3.4 thousand UAH per ton.
“In Q3 the average price will total 3570 UAH per ton, and will drop to 3.4 thousand UAH in Q4”, says the enterprise marketing department head Yuri Dobrovolski.
In September-October scrap-purchasing price will decrease, due to the Ukrainian rolled metal price drop on world markets following the decline in demand.
The prices will start growing in November-December, but because of the September-October drop in Q4 they will be lower than in Q3. (Ukrainian metal)
