In May Zaporizhstal produced 344.4 thousand tons of pig iron, 366.8 thousand tons of steel and 307.5 thousand tons of rolled metal, all up by 3.6%, 1.3% and 1.7% YoY respectively.
According to the company statement, in January-May pig iron output went up by 4.3%, to 1522.8 thousand tons, that of steel – by 3%, to 1641.8 thousand tons, and of rolled metal – by 4.9%, to 1447.3 thousand tons, all YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
