The Solomensky district Court of Kiev has allowed the Kazakhstan law-enforcers to search Eximbank of Kazakhstan for the proofs of uranium concentrate purchasing schemes by Vostochny Mining and Processing Works.

In particular the detectives should look for documents that contain information about Stepnogorsk Mining and Chemical Works accounts that were used in July 2014 – January 2016; payee and payer accounts, etc.

The officials of VostGOK have concluded an agreement with Steuermann Investitions- und Handelsgesellschaft mbH (Austria) for the supply of uranium concentrate, knowing full well it was a middleman.

Thus VostGOK overpaid some $20 million, while the concentrate was supplied by the Stepnogorsk Mining and Chemical Works. (Ukrainian metal)
