In 2015 Ukraine exported 239.56 thousand tons of coke worth $38.21 million, down 4.8 times and 5 times YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main importers of Ukrainian coke were Turkey (28.95%), Georgia (18.35%) and Russia (11.42%).
In 2015 Ukraine imported 2037.2 thousand tons of coke worth $395.95 million, up by 24.5% and 11.8% YoY respectively. The main suppliers of coke were Russia (36.58%), Poland (34.86%) and China (21.46%).
Due to the military actions in the East of Ukraine, a number of mines and coke plants ended up on the territories controlled by pro-Russian terrorists and Russian army. (Ukrainian metal)
