The Commercial Court of the Dniepropetrovsk region has named the state enterprise Pridneprovsky Hydrometallurgical Works bankrupt and decided to close it.
As of late December the main player at the works industrial site was Ferrexpo.
A couple of years ago the company lost its connection with the works because the steel pulp feed line was stolen.
Some sources claimed Ferrexpo wanted to start producing ferroalloys at the site. But taking into account Ferrexpo’s difficult situation such plans seem unlikely. (Ukrainian metal)
