Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works, a part of Group DF, claims the state owes it 43.9 million UAH of VAT.
“As of October 1, the VAT debts to us reached 44 million UAH. We believe it will increase by 43.9 million more by the end of the year. This cannot be borne. This prevents our company to grow. We cannot pay our partners. Our debts to Zaporozhyeoblenergo have already reached 128.78 million UAH. And they have already insisted on decreasing electricity supplies to us”, said the company CEO Vladimir Sivak.
He added that the company would start paying its electricity debts as soon as the state started returning its VAT debts.
At the same time the company has enough products to pay its debts to Zaporozhoblenerego if they are sold. (Ukrainian metal)
