Ukrkoks association supports coke import restrictions.
The association has addressed the Prime-Minister of Ukraine Arseny Yatsenyuk asking him to restrict coke import due to the loading of Ukrainian by-product coke companies.
“Today the by-product coke plants work with 60% capacity. While the country imports coke”, said the association general director Anatoly Starovoit.
According to him, in January-September Ukrainian metal companies imported 4.1 billion UAH worth of coke. (Ukrainian metal)
