In January-September Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works, a part of Group DF, produced 5.98 thousand tons of spongy titanium, up by 25.9% YoY.
At the same time the company decreased titanium slag output by 33.4% YoY, to 7.99 thousand tons.
According to Group DF statement, titanium slag output decrease has been planned for this year. In H1 the works carried out a modernization of one of its three ore-thermal furnaces. So if in Q1 and Q2 it produced 1.58 thousand tons and 1.47 thousand tons of slag respectively, in Q3 it produced 4.93 thousand tons.
“The works gradually increases its output volumes of spongy titanium. In January-September we sold 780 million UAH worth of products, up by 25% YoY. With our profits totaling 245.12 million UAH”, said the company CEO Vladimir Sivak. (Ukrainian metal)
