Turboatom has put one of its two steel smelting furnaces after a major overhaul into operation. The modernization helped to increase metal quality and output, while decreasing air pollution.
For the past 8 years the company invested over $70 million into its modernization, which helped Turboatom to be competitive in Europe and Asia. It exports two thirds of its products.
According to the company CEO Victor Subbotin, Turboatom works with over 10 countries.
Last year the company received more than 1 billion UAH of net profits and paid 600 million UAH of taxes. (Ukrainian metal)
