In January-September Ukraine produced 643.4 thousand tons of ferrous pipes, down by 41.9% YoY.
In September pipe output totaled 74.7 thousand tons, up from 72.1 thousand tons in August.
Khartsyzsk Pipe Works, located in the antiterrorist operation zone, in January-September produced 66.3 thousand tons of pipes, down by 58.8% YoY. In July-September the works was idle.
Interpipe-NTZ pipe output in the given period decreased by 48.7% YoY, to 127 thousand tons (14.4 thousand tons in September), Interpipe NMTZ – by 34.7%, to 71.6 thousand tons (10.9 thousand tons), Interpipe Niko Tube – by 43.5%, to 181.5 thousand tons (19.4 thousand tons).
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 41.6 thousand tons of pipes, down by 9.2% YoY. In September the company produced 7.3 thousand tons of pipes.
Lugansk Tube Plant was still idle.
Kominmet produced 130.3 thousand tons of pipes (with 18.7 thousand tons in September), down by 15.1% YoY, Centravis – 14.5 thousand tons (1.6 thousand tons), down by 11%.
AG Stal was idle, but in January-September 2014 it produced 21.3 thousand tons of pipes.
Dniepropetrovsk Tube Works produced 6.1 thousand tons of pipes, down by 75.5% YoY. In May-August the company was idle, but in September it produced 1.9 thousand tons of pipes. (Ukrainian metal)
