According to Vladimir Gavrik, the acting general manager of the State Enterprise Donbassantracit, the company has started paying July salary to its employees.
“For now we’re paying our miners in UAH, and the total amount of payments is 15.3 billion UAH. You see, people want to work. The question is to mine coal and sell it”, said Vladimir Gavrik.
Because of the difficult social and economical situation only 6 thousand employees out of 9.5 thousand remained at the works.
“Some went to Russia, some to Ukraine. But in June-July the workers started to return”, added the acting CEO of Donbassantracit.
It should be noted that the company is situated in the terrorist-occupied lands of Lugansk region. (Ukrainian metal)
