In January-May Evraz Sukhaya Balka Mining and Processing Works (Kriviy Rih, Dniepropetrovsk region) produced 1.14 million tons of iron ore, down by 5% YoY.
In May the company produced 242 thousand tons of iron ore.
According to the company statement, it sells its ore on domestic and foreign markets in equal shares. Exports go to Hungary, Turkey, Czech Republic, China and Poland.
In 2014 cost price of the Sukhaya Balka iron ore was around $38 per ton.
In 2014 the company mined 3.4 million tons of raw ore, and sold almost 3 million tons of sinter ore.
The company ended 2014 with net profit of 836.5 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
