In January-March Zaporozhye Titanium and Magnesium Works produced 2279.9 tons of spongy titanium, up by 49.6%, YoY.
According to Vladimir Spivak, the company CEO, the works also increased its sales volumes – by 76.4%, or by 1209.6 tons, to 2133.4 tons.
At the same time the company had to decreased its titanium slag output – by 36.5%, to 1588 tons. It was a planned decrease due to an overhaul of a slag furnace.
In 2015 ZTMK plans to produce 9.4 thousand tons of spongy titanium, up by 30.5% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
