US decided to withdraw its anti-dumping duties for Ukrainian producers of pipes, steel, and chemical business.
“The US side proposed several solutions, including a possibility of a Suspension Agreements (agreements to suspend the anti-dumping duties). This is quite an important achievement, given the political sensitivity of these issues”, – said Aivaras Abromavicius, the Minister for Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
He noted that the decision was a compromise, since the final abandonment of duties was a complicated process because of the many political and economic issues. The minister promised to work on it further. (https://www.mnogovbloge.com/?p=11573&lang=en/Ukrainian metal)
